A course built only for first-time debaters. If your child has never debated before, they're exactly who this is for.

Ages 9–17, grouped by age and level. Capped at 6 per class — every child speaks, every session.
Plenty of children have the ideas. What they don't have yet is the nerve to say them out loud — especially when someone disagrees. You can't nag a child into confidence. But you can give them a safe place to practise, where speaking up is the whole point and getting it wrong is how everyone learns.

Gwyneth Goh Kai Xin
Former captain, CUHK English debate team
Classes are led by Gwyneth Goh Kai Xin, former captain of The Chinese University of Hong Kong's English debate team, alongside senior competitive debaters. Your child isn't learning from a generalist tutor reading a syllabus — they're learning from people who've argued, lost, adjusted, and won at the highest student level.
And because they remember being beginners, they know exactly how to teach one.
Every week, the class takes on a real topic — current affairs, ethics, school life — and works it from both sides. Your child learns to build a case, deliver it, and respond when it's challenged. New topic every session, so the thinking never runs on rails.
All classes are conducted in English.
HK$600 per session (S$100 in Singapore) — 1.5 hours, 4 sessions a month, in a class of no more than 6. Billed monthly.
Can't make a session? Let us know in advance and we'll arrange leave — your child doesn't just forfeit the class.
Want to stop altogether? Just tell us before your next month begins. No lock-in, no exit fees.
Six children, ninety minutes, coaches from the top of university debating. Every child speaks every session — that's what the class size buys.
Many of our debaters go on to Model UN, where they put these skills to work on a bigger stage. But that comes later. This is where they start.
